Medicare Advantage Insurance

Medicare Advantage, also known as Medicare Part C, is an alternative way for beneficiaries to receive their Medicare benefits. Offered by private insurance companies approved by Medicare, Medicare Advantage plans provide all of the coverage offered by Original Medicare (Parts A and B), often including additional benefits such as prescription drug coverage (Part D), vision, dental, hearing, and wellness programs.

Medicare Supplement Insurance

Medigap plans help fill the gaps in your Medicare coverage, such as deductibles, copayments, and coinsurance. With a Medicare Supplement plan, you can enjoy the freedom to see any doctor or specialist who accepts Medicare without worrying about unexpected out-of-pocket costs.

Medicare Enrollment

Medicare provides coverage for eligible individuals who are aged 65 and older, as well as certain younger individuals with disabilities and those with end-stage renal disease.

Medicare Enrollment Periods

  • Initial Enrollment Period (IEP): Typically begins three months before an individual turns 65, includes the month of their birthday, and continues for three months afterward.
  • General Enrollment Period (GEP): Runs from January 1 to March 31 each year for individuals who did not enroll during their IEP and are eligible for Medicare.
  • Special Enrollment Period (SEP): This period is available to individuals who experience certain life events, such as moving, losing other coverage, or qualifying for additional assistance programs.

Participating sales agencies represent Medicare Advantage HMO, PPO, and PFFS organizations and stand-alone PDP prescription drug plans that are contracted with Medicare. Enrollment depends on the plan’s contract renewal.
